I am a professor and PhD supervisor at Nanjing University, where I joined the Department of Astronomy in 2002. My research focuses on astrometric methods, astronomical reference systems, and Galactic astronomy.

I have made multiple research visits to the University of Bonn Observatory in Germany and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, collaborating on space astrometry, astronomical reference systems, and Galactic astronomy.

I serve on the organizing committee of the International Astronomical Union’s astrometry commission and as a reviewer for China’s national science and technology awards. I have led multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published more than 20 papers in SCI-indexed journals.
